I love your suggestion about how to help and also these details about how the NFL helped? The news has been so hard but seeing people take care of each other has been so healing for me (at the risk of sounding so sappy).
I love the links you post and the format, it doesn’t feel as “influencer” to me. Btw-I added the Clare V pearl bracelet (link you shared in November) to my Christmas list, and it’s lovely ❤️
Hi Alex! I am new to your blog and loving it so far :) You mentioned ditching plastic for your fertility cleanse.... I am on that path now and am wondering if you may have a post that goes more in depth on this topic? Thank you!! XO Jessica Clare
thanks jessica! yes. i used to talk a lot about my fertility stuff on instagram before i quit the app. one day i'll get organized and move it to my blog. BUT for now, here's the bite-size version:
in 2014 and 2016, i had my 2 daughters. while i was trying for my third baby, i had 3 early term miscarriages. then in 2018 i had my son, and in 2021, i had 2 more miscarriages before my fourth baby (another boy) was born. so 4 babies and 5 miscarriages in all. i never really got a clear explanation for the reason why these miscarriages happened, so i can't say for certain. BUT after my fifth miscarriage, i was desperate to figure out what i could do to avoid another one because i just knew i wanted one more baby. i knew so little about secondary infertility and i felt very frustrated and lost.
i was getting ready to start IVF when i read a book called It Starts With The Egg, which i ***highly*** recommend for anyone TTC. in it, i learned about egg health and sperm quality, two things i'd never heard of. the book taught me a ton about the sensitive biology that affects conception, and how to improve my own egg health (thus increasing my chances of carrying to term) by reducing toxins and increasing key nutrients. like i said, i highly recommend the book, i have given it to several friends. knowledge is power! i wish i had read the book years ago, before i ever had a miscarriage. we learn so little about our reproductive systems, so it's really on women as individuals to find this info on our own. thankfully the research is out there, and there are answers! email or dm me anytime, i'm happy to chat more if it helps!
2) YES i really really like having the "buy this" links all together so that my brain knows what it's signing up for and can opt in or out of links for purchase! Thank you for being considerate!!!!!
